It’s been 6 months since I thought of this idea to find information on the causes of deaths in celebrities. On my research on this particular story I visited many sites which were full on dedicated to celebrities and how their death occurred. When I had to choose the first dead celebrity on the list I decided to search for the legendary Elvis Aaron Presley. Presley had developed many health problems during his life, some of them chronic. Opinions differ regarding the onset of his drug abuse. He did take amphetamines regularly in the army; problems magnified by taking prescribed drugs. Elvis felt that by getting pills from a doctor, he wasn’t the common everyday junkie getting something off the street. He… thought that as far as medications and drugs went, there was something for everything. In two lab reports filed two months later, each indicated “a strong belief that the primary cause of death was polypharmacy,” with one report indicating the detection of fourteen drugs in Elvis’ system, ten in significant quantity. The singer allegedly spent at least $1 million annually during his latter years on drugs and doctors’ fees or inducements.
Bruce Lee was the best martial artist ever. He practiced several styles of Kung-Fu and was the creator of his own style: Jeet Kune Do. He filmed several movies both in Hollywood and in Hong Kong. Although his death is surrounded by several rumors, the official version is that he died of cerebral edema, which is a swelling of the brain. What caused the cerebral edema is still not clear. The curse theory was extended to his son Brandon Lee, also an actor, who died, 20 years after his father, in a bizarre accident while filming The Crow at the age of 28. It was released after his death and gained cult status, as had his father’s last film. (The Crow was completed with the use of computer-generated imagery and a stunt double in the few but critical scenes that remained to be filmed.) Brandon Lee was buried beside his father.

Adolf Hitler: By April 1945 the Russian army had surrounded Berlin, where Hitler had his headquarters in his bunkerr. He had decided to make his last stand in Berlin, and not surrender. The generally accepted account is that he committed suicide by biting a cyanide capsule and shooting himself simultaneously. His body (and that of his wife) was then burned with gasoline by his aides. The Russian secret service identified his remains by his dental records. However, to this day there have been doubts as to his death, the manner of his death and as to the identification of his remains, including the fragment of skull the Russians claim belonged to Hitler.
